C F A PROJECT #78
Vagabond Man
Campaign / AW 2022

The key insight this concept was based on was simple. There are plenty of jaw dropping facts about shoes that people don’t know. Let’s use them as a voice over and enrich the campaign with in copy.

The three visual concepts was created to capture different moods in the collection. Blue for smart, beige for dressed and outdoor for the more sturdy boots and workwear inspiration. This also allows for newness during the full autumn and winter season but still enabling recognizability.

The concept of this story was time. A day in the life of a serial dresser ; ) Working with a set camera we could show the passing of time with light, set design and wardrobe changes.

Carolines character changes constantly between extraordinary outfits by the young design talents. Eating, reading, working and connecting. In one small space as the day passes.

Jotex
Campaign / SS 2022

How to infuse a campaign for an interior company with fashion and energy when the mood is serenity. We developed a concept around a model in blurry motion moving through the minimalist home with sculptural elements.

Using natural light and tone on tone styling for both interior and fashion the tranquility vibe was captured. We called it “Clean Slate”

C F A PROJECT #76
Vagabond Man
Campaign / SS 2022

To make campaigns work on social media, a layer of polish usually needs to go. We decided to get closer to the street and be playful this season.

Bringing in everything from dogs to mirrors and bikes we divided up the seasonal campaign into 5 mini campaigns. Keeping the ads, store material and content more variated and getting the shoes into focus.

For the films we captured Jai’s energy interacting with his surroundings. An old C F A trick of getting the model to shoot some own iPhone footage also added a layer for social channels.

C F A PROJECT #75
Elle Magazine
Editorial / AW 2021

What do you do when the only editorial shoot day is raining away? Turn it to an advantage of course.

With clear umbrellas from Japan, wet slick hair and models with an attitude so fierce it scared the locals we turned the office and area around Götgatan to a fashion rain dance.

C F A PROJECT #74
Vagabond Man
Campaign / AW 2021

Inspired by Irvings Penns corner images and Ugo Rondidones sculptures we developed the idea of portraying the personality of a contemporary man in a studio wearing Vagabonds AW 21 footwear collection.

Using the colour red to add power to our images we also created several versions of set design to get variation into the campaign.

For the film we also added outdoor footage with Sandy and Gabriel to get a sense of a city surrounding. The voice over tells the story of past years feelings of isolation and of course the remedy – putting on your shoes to go out.

C F A PROJECT #72
Vogue Ukraine
Editorial / AW 2020

The spring of 2020 was unprecedented in so many ways. To find hope and light we initiated creativity.

Going to our favourite island in the Stockholm archipelago we went just four people. Agnes did her own hair and make up. No crew or assistants, just us.

The results when creating with no restrictions was liberating. The contrast of Olofs dreamy photography, the all black styling, the ocean and derelict buildings was like a metaphor for 2020.

C F A PROJECT #73
Adnym Atelier
Campaign / SS 2021

The idea of community and re-unite was at the center of our mood for the Adnym SS21 campaign.

This season our keywords were cooperation, fragile / strong, post and renaissance summing up what we were searching for during the madness that was 2020.

Photographed and filmed at a disused army fort on an island now slowly taken over by nature provided the perfect backdrop for the campaign.

Editorial / AW 2020

The quarantine started posing questions on how to create fashion editorials with minimal teams.

Luckily a recipe we are used to cooking, this project was a study in clashing the beautiful nature around us with high fashion and a hint of re-birth.

Inspired by Karin Broos paintings we investigated how fringe attitudes can interplay with the commercial world of fashion.

Are self portraits the new fashion photography in the age of the quarantine?

We asked 10 people to photograph themselves at home, styled in looks we provided, this story is what happens when creativity blossoms. We call it Working It From Home.

The images spread fast and wide on social media thanks to its contributors’ influence and the actuality of the subject.

C F A PROJECT #67
Adnym Atelier
Campaign / AW 2020

Focusing on four key words – Clean, Artistic, Raw, Attitude we cast local artists and designers via Instagram to avoid traditional model casting and add a unique feel to the campaign.

Creating a set that borders between gallery and room we captured the mood we defined as Anti Excess with VHS for moving and analogue film for the stills.

Allowing the whole team and models to post everything on social media in real time led to the shoot itself to become a well shared event.

Only & Sons
Campaign / AW 2020

Music is something everyone can relate to and as our research showed it is a big interest for the Only & Sons customer.

Using music as a tool for storytelling we created the campaign B-Side Icons for the Danish menswear brand with lookbooks, films, campaign images and social media content.

We cast real Danish musicians and chose the band Go Go Berlin as the campaign’s main characters. They radiate style and positivity in their musical enthusiasm and elevated the collection perfectly.

House of Dagmar
Campaign / Resort 2020

For Swedish fashion brand House of Dagmars resort 2020 campaign we took inspiration from the Japanese details in the collection for the shoot idea. Combining the lookbook images with still lifes helped framing the campaign artistically.

Using a local Japanese style spa hotel in Stockholm as location we were able to travel without moving far. A speciality for us.

C F A PROJECT #64
We Love magazine
Editorial / Spring 2020

Playful – the best word to describe the approach of both designer Jacquemus and our client Bolon.

For the 2020 issue of We Love Magazine we created this editorial story using the images we shot with photographer Pauline Suzor and flooring samples cut up by collage artist Tinka Luiga. In this way both the worlds of fashion and design could meet on the magazine page elevated by set design, movement and the fun ballroom loving Malaika.

C F A PROJECT #63
Bolon We Love
Magazine / 2020

Flooring company Bolon asked us to create an annual magazine that would inspire rather than educate and we decided to mix the world of design and fashion, just as they do.

With our editorial direction we developed ideas and articles that would allow us to subtly draw parallels to the Bolon products and we designed the magazine to impress aesthetically but with readability in mind. Using a mix of young and established photographers created a visually striking product.

C F A PROJECT #65
Elle Magazine
editorial / SPRING 2020

How do you capture the essence of a woman whose status as style icon is sealed over three decades in fashion? We decided to dig both in the past of her early modelling days and her present by surrounding her with family and friends in the shoot to create a varied timeline of images to tell her story.

In post production we used physical collage to tell both stories at once. The result is an editorial story that moves beyond the idea of only clothes and a model and highlights the story of life.

C F A PROJECT #58
H&M Conscious Exclusive
Campaign / Autumn 2019

For H&Ms most important collection, as it combines both sustainability and a high fashion level, we created this campaign. Inspired by the holy grail of glamourous nights – The Met Gala – we found out the best party is during the in between moment. The elevator entrance, the selfies in the bathroom, arriving down the grand staircase and a well deserved break on the rooftop.

For the social media channels we asked the models to create content themselves with their iPhones. It captured the feeling of a real party and defined an unusually intimate style of communication for a brand like H&M.

H&M Man
Campaign / Spring 2019

For H&M Man we created the spring campaign “A fresh start” based on the idea that the best way to update your look besides buying new clothes is getting a haircut.

Photographed around a real barbershop featuring a hairdresser and three guys actually getting their hair cut we allowed the storytelling and styling to feel real and natural. A key in all our SoMe material for the H&M customer

House of Dagmar
Campaign / AW 2019

Defining the Dagmar woman meant visualising her eye for the artistic chic and constructing her setting – the art gallery.

By working with auction house Bukowskis we were able to use existing environments that provided a local solution to an international environment. By creating the shoot at the earliest stage possible of the collection our client was able to use campaign material at buyers meetings with retailers meaning the focus products that would be marketed in-season was already decided. A win-win for everyone.

Max Eklund
Visual Direction / 2020

How do you create visuals for a music producer in the post millennial generation that wants to stay anonymous but that is still creatively defined?

We decided to take inspiration from modern music production and visually sample from the internet to build the visual world of Max Eklund.

Inspired by rhythm we created a symbol that we then applied to a colourful, abstract and mystical world. Resulting in lots of variations and a visual library of content for social media platforms.

As much as we love to help clients enter the digital world it’s also great fun to transfer a digital universe to something you can hold in your hand and know it will be a kitchen staple for years to come. It also sold out within a month.
